We partner with grassroots organizations. All initiatives are locally led and staffed by members of the community.

We prioritize projects that focus on inclusion and create equitable access to opportunities and resources for underrepresented groups.
Direct Giving
Our board covers the cost of the US operations so that every dollar you donate goes directly to the programs we support in Kenya.
Sustainability
We provide unrestricted operational funding and strategic advice and investments that support our partners’ self-reliance.
Transparency & Quality Improvement
Our US and Kenyan leadership work together to measure and improve the impact of our investments on a quarterly basis and Tiba visits local sites regularly.
Capacity Building
We help facilitate volunteer visits to Kenya based on our Kenyan partners’ requests for expert training and specialized medical procedures.
Where We Work
Tiba’s anchor partnership with Matibabu Foundation is in Ukwala & Ugenya subcounties of Siaya in Western Kenya. Tiba also partners with the health leaders of the 14 counties around Lake Victoria – LREB Lake Region Economic Bloc.
