Jill McCarthy is a public affairs strategist with 15-years of experience in leading global public-private partnerships, social impact and sustainability programs, and marketing & communications campaigns for high-profile global brands, executives, and policymakers. Jill began her career in democratic politics where she held senior staff roles working for Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, and spent five years working for Senator Edward M. Kennedy (D-MA) leading his re-election campaign and PAC until he passed away in 2009. On a trip to southern Africa in 2007 with a team from University of Pennsylvania, Jill discovered her interest in improving global health care in rural communities and consulted on funding opportunities for the Penn-Botswana Partnership. Her hobbies include international travel, endurance sports, and volunteering with the refugee community in the Bay area.
